Project Overview

Objective: Design an intuitive quiz app that serves K-12 students, college learners, and curious minds by offering both preloaded quizzes and AI-powered custom quiz generation for theory-heavy subjects.

Project Timeline: 6 weeks

Role: UX Designer

Deliverables: Empathy maps, user personas, competitor analysis, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, brand identity, high-fidelity mockups.

Problem Statement

Most quiz platforms have rigid content structures and lack support for personalized, theory-based learning resulting in low retention and poor differentiation in a competitive market. The challenge was to design an app that:

• Improves user retention through engaging, preloaded quizzes in subjects like History and Biology

• Reduces churn by enabling users to generate custom AI-powered quizzes from their own notes (PDFs/images)

• Broadens market reach by supporting diverse user types (K-12 students, college learners, and casual users) through personalized onboarding and intuitive navigation

Goal: To enhance learning experience while driving measurable business value through increased engagement, retention, and differentiation.

Preloaded Quiz Library

• Quizzes categorized by subject and difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard), with instant feedback after each question.

Custom AI Quiz Generation

• Allows users to upload PDFs or images, select difficulty, and generate quizzes from their own notes along with an option to save them for later study sessions.
