Agency Landing Page
Pop Art Style - Design Challenge
Background
This landing page was the result of a design challenge which helped me to think more creatively and enhance my visual design skills.
Design Prompt
To design “a landing page for a digital first ad agency which is an upcoming startup that acquires multiple small ad agencies and rolls it up”. Key specifics:
Theme to be followed: Gen-Z & Pop-Art style
Target User: Small business owners, individual professionals, as well as brand managers (Ages 20-40 Years)
Primary Location: USA, EU Region, India
In addition to all this information, a pre-designed logo was provided. A set of colors had also already been specified for use, with the flexibility to choose some of my own as per convenience and taste (the last three colors: purple, red, magenta were my picks).
Design Process
With the specified guidelines in mind, I started looking at a few other brands that would be considered competitors of this one, and studied them at once. I also searched for website designs that fit the Gen-Z and Pop art theme on platforms such as Behance and Dribbble. After this, I quickly made a rough wireframe sketch on a piece of paper, which I then translated into a digital hi-fidelity mockup using Figma. I decided to throw a neubrutalist feel into the mix while I was at it. I also used some stock illustrations and vectors for the same, experimented a little with blending modes, and the result turned out to be even better than I had planned.
